Ripple CTO David Schwartz said that he owes his sister a serious amount of bitcoins for a plane ticket she bought on his behalf many years ago.
Schwartz added that his sister bought him a ticket to make sure he would come to her wedding. At the time of writing, Schwartz’s debt was $ 100,719 in bitcoin.
For many years, I owe my sister 2.77904 BTC (she paid for my plane ticket and wanted me to return the amount to her in bitcoins). I told her several times that now it is real money.
I’ve owed my sister 2.77904 BTC for years now (she paid for a plane ticket for me and wanted me to pay her in bitcoin). I’ve reminded her a few times that it’s real money now and she keeps not collecting.

The technical director of Ripple stressed that he offered his sister to repay the debt in three different currencies.
I offered her dollars, XRP and bitcoins, and she chose BTC, but I don’t remember exactly. I think she had a bitcoin wallet on her phone at the time, and she asked me to take it over to deal with the BCH (Bitcoin Cash) fork, or when her phone went down and she never set it up again.
Last month, the CTO of a payments startup lifted the curtain over his crypto portfolio. As it turned out, he owns Bitcoins, XRP, Ethereum (ETH), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Cardano (ADA), Polymath (POLY), Bancor Network Token (BNT), Kin, Crypterium (CRPT) , StormX (STMX), Bitcoin Gold (BTG) and EOS.
Last year, Schwartz reported that he had previously sold 40,000 ETH at $ 1.
