CD Projekt RED has released a major update for the fantastic RPG Cyberpunk 2077 that brings many fixes and improvements to the game. The new patch fixes issues related to quests, gameplay, visuals and more. You can find a huge list of changes on the official website of the game.
Let’s note the important changes related to stability and performance:
- Numerous fixes for crashes in animations, UI, scenes, physics and game systems
- Optimizing memory and improving memory management on various systems (reducing crashes)
- Various optimizations for console versions
- Reducing the bug with a large number of identical NPCs
For PC:
- Fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to press the refresh button during game with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels
- Fixed an issue that caused the game to become unresponsive when switching between windowed and fullscreen modes with Alt + Enter.
- Changing language settings will now set the default language of the Steam client
- A pop-up message asking to check the integrity of game data will now be displayed when incomplete or corrupted game data is found
For Xbox:
- Fixed an issue where logging out while a scene disappeared could cause the game to partially freeze
- Fixed an issue that caused the pause menu to open again on its own if the Xbox manual and pause menu closed quickly
