The actress Cynthia Erivo 38, used social media this Thursday (23) to celebrate his Oscar nomination. She is competing in the main category of Best Actress for her performance in “Wicked” adaptation of the Broadway musical.
In the film, she plays Elphaba, a young woman who has not yet discovered her true power and is misunderstood because she has green skin. On her journey of discovery, she meets Glinda, a popular and ambitious figure, who does not know the true soul, played by Ariana Grande, 31.
In the publication, she shares photos from the production, as well as a video, a photo from her childhood and a screenshot of the award nominees. Among them is the Brazilian Fernanda Torres who competes for his work in “I’m Still Here” .
