A traffic accident with two deaths occurred on Friday night in Cyprus and more specifically in Larnaca. Specifically, a 51-year-old constable who served at the Voroklini police station and a foreigner, whose details have not yet been identified, lost their lives.

Specifically, after receiving information about a person who was on foot on the Agia Napa-Rizoelias highway, members of the Voroklini Police Station of the Special Motorcyclist Association went to the scene.
When the person in question was spotted on the highway, the constable parked the patrol car in the safety lane and in his attempt to move it off the road, under circumstances that are being investigated, both were pulled over by a passing vehicle with a 45-year-old driver.
Both were taken to Larnaca General Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The unlucky cop he was married and the father of two children.
The causes are being investigated by the Headquarters and Larnaca Traffic Police, in collaboration with the Criminal Investigation Service.
