They will record the positive results in the file of the Infectious Diseases Epidemiological Surveillance Unit of the Ministry of Health, with strict recommendations to the citizen for self-limitation in case he is diagnosed positive. How will the tests be done?
According to the president of the Pancyprian Pharmaceutical Association, Eleni Piera Isseyek, on state radio, rapid diagnostic tests will be performed exclusively by pharmacists, as health professionals, and will not be available to citizens for self-diagnosis, as this is prohibited in Cyprus. that in some European countries it has been allowed.
The test will be performed outside the pharmacy, by appointment, using a mask, mask, robe, and disposable gloves separately for each person examined.
