The fire which broke out in the morning at Beyond the Limassol Field in Cyprus.
With five staffed fire trucks from fire stations of the Limassol District and two leased helicopters, the Fire Brigade is trying to extinguish the fire that broke out in an area of the community of Pera Pedi, as stated in a post on Twitter, the Press Spokesperson Κεττής.
Regarding the fire that broke out in an area of the Pera Pedi Community, it is reported that the Ministry of Defense is operating in support of the Forest Department. We operate with 5 staffed firefighting vehicles from Limassol District Fire Stations and the 2 leased helicopters.

Mr. Kettis adds that the fire trucks have been placed in strategic points and protect individual holiday homes.
According to the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Costa Kadi, the situation is clearly improved, while the mayor of Pera Pedi, Lenos Markantonis, stated that the fire has been brought under partial control.
