Vaccination with the booster / 3rd dose against coronavirus for people aged 18 and over begins today in Cyprus, following a decision of the Council of Ministers on November 15 to shield the adult population.
For this procedure it is necessary to have a period of six months from the completion of their vaccination regimen (2nd dose in the case of Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines or a single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine).
For better service, from today, the beneficiaries will be able to make an appointment through the Vaccination Portal or to be served through the vaccination centers of free attendance (walk-in), without prior appointment.
The walk-in centers operate in all provinces, from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 6 pm and on Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm.
For people who have received the Johnson & Johnson monosodium vaccine, the service is available only at the walk-in vaccination centers.
The vaccination of the citizens who are not registered in the software of GESS is carried out every Friday from 8 in the morning until 6 in the afternoon.
