Ukraine is prepared for all scenarios, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Saturday when asked if he agreed with US President Biden’s assessment that Russian President Vladimir Putin had decided to invade, according to Reuters.
“We are preparing for any possible scenario,” Kuleba told the Munich Security Conference.
“We have reason to believe that Russian forces are planning and intending to attack Ukraine next week, in the coming days,” Biden said yesterday, stressing that Washington believes that Russia will also target Kiev, the Ukrainian capital.
US President Joe Biden warned Russia once again yesterday that if it attacked Ukraine “it will pay a heavy price”, reiterating that Washington does not intend to send troops to Ukraine.
The US president noted that the US and its allies remain united, despite Moscow’s efforts to divide them.
