Dad only for unvaccinated, obligation for those who work: the hypotheses on the table (and what changes in the yellow zone)

From tomorrow, Monday 3 January, eleven Italian regions will pass in the yellow zone. Lombardy, Piedmont, Lazio and Sicily they are the last to join the other seven already yellow, namely Calabria, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Liguria, Marche, autonomous province of Bolzano, autonomous province of Trento and Veneto. Basically, the use of the already established habits and restrictions does not change much grille on the outside it is already mandatory throughout the country. And according to the decree approved on November 23, there are no differences between the white and yellow areas. The green pass is always mandatory to access the main public places and for activities.

The real change could come on January 5, when it could come into effect the vaccination obligation for all workers for the super green pass. A measure that Prime Minister Mario Draghi is holding in abeyance only to keep the unrest in Parliament under control but which if the 200,000 plus threshold is exceeded on January 5, will most likely be confirmed. It is in fact the measure closest to mandatory vaccination for all, the most effective way to stop the contagion of the Omicron variant that is running in the country, with one million people currently at home with Covid. The current measures provide in fact the lockdown for those who are not vaccinated, excluding entry into all public places and places of entertainment to those who do not have the reinforced green pass, which is what is released only to recovered and vaccinated.

At the moment the vaccine is already mandatory for health personnel, school personnel, law enforcement agencies and employees of external companies that perform services within the RSA. While you are evaluating the obligation to vaccinate also for university students. New rules are also arriving for school attendance in the presence, a few days after returning from the Christmas holidays, an attempt is made to save what can be saved while the vaccination campaign continues also for boys and girls of the age group between 5 and 11 years.

Everything remains the same in the kindergarten while the hypothesis for the primary and secondary school is to keep the face-to-face teaching for all when there is only one positive case in the classroom, with the mandatory buffer at 10 days, while with two positive cases, only the students vaccinated with a complete cycle remain in the classroom, based on age, and healed in the last three months, always with a swab at 10 days. For the others it should return the instead distance learning (Dad). If the positive cases rise in the classroom, then from three upwards, the management passes to the competent ASL. Thus changes the method of tracing through the swab: no longer double and no longer immediately after the detection of the first positive and not even after five days.

The shared goal is to avoid the closure of schools and in the same way distance learning, giving a greater boost to the vaccination campaign for children that proceeds slowly. At the moment for ages 5-11 it is covered with just 8.5% dose.
