Investigations into the crash of the Air India aircraft is underway, as the pilot’s medical history is being examined, following allegations that one of them was suffering from depression and mental health problems. Governor Sumeet Sabharwal, an experienced pilot with more than 8,200 hours of flight, was on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner controls when it fell into a residential area, the Meghani Nagar, killing 241 passengers and causing 19 more people on the ground. A few seconds after take -off on June 12, two fuel switches on the Air India Flight 171 cockpit were disabled, resulting in devastating loss of power and aircraft crash.
