Dakota Fanning recalls her childhood as an actress: “Super inappropriate questions”

The actress Dakota Fanning one of the stars of “The Perfect Couple”, recalled his childhood as an actress and its relationship with media exposure.

“In interviews as a young girl, I remember journalists asking, ‘How are you avoiding becoming a tabloid girl?’ People asked super inappropriate questions. I was in an interview as a kid and someone asked, ‘How can you have friends?’ Like, heh?”, she said in an interview with The Cut.

Fanning starred in several successful films as a child, such as “A Lesson in Love” (2001), “Big Girl, Little Woman” (2003), among others.

“I just didn’t fall for it, and I don’t know the exact reasons why, except that my family is made up of really nice, kind, protective people. I have a mother who taught me how to treat other people and also how to be treated. And she was there the whole time. I have always been treated with respect,” she added.

Even so, Fanning still felt a certain expectation from the media that his life would take a problematic turn, like that of so many other child actors in Hollywood.

“I definitely felt that kind of vibe of people almost wanting me to fail or something. It makes you feel a little cautious. I’m just living my life here. I also think I was a little too young for it to completely hit me. So that was good”, said the actress.
