O Dalva and Dito It is the most informal home of the avant-garde chef Alex Atala name in front of the star SUN . With a huge and elegant room, but without frills, high ceilings, spaced tables (a rare thing nowadays), friendly service from a well-trained team and a menu that brings traditional Brazilian flavors, but, of course, with the magical touch and creativity that only Alex and his team can provide.
The day-to-day running of the kitchen is led by the chef José Guerra , which maintains some classics on the menu, such as the famous Aligot with medallion (R$ 160); the grilled Pirarucu served with plantain puree and grilled vegetables (R$ 160); Rubacão, a version of the traditional northeastern baião-de-dois, accompanied by fried cassava and coalho cheese (R$ 105); the Breaded steak with potato salad (R$ 98); and grilled octopus served with tomato sauce and grilled vegetables (R$ 170).

However, new features were presented last month, such as the “Made Dishes” , all with fixed values of R$105, the recipes are: on Mondays, Virado à paulista; on Tuesdays, chicken rice with okra; Wednesday is Steak day with rice, beans, egg and caramelized onion and Thursday, Stroganoff with rice and potatoes. The moqueca with pirarucu, shrimp and mussels with rice and pirão is a favorite on Fridays.
The starter section included lamb croquette (R$45) accompanied by house-made curd, pork sausage (R$35), which is roasted at Josper and served with garlic farofa, and a reinterpretation of fish and chips British: breaded pirarucu baits (R$52), accompanied by tartar sauce and fries. There is also the succulent Pancetta with salmon roe (R$55) – a smoked pork belly served with pickled red onion, cupuaçu chutney with Baniwa pepper and salmon roe.
Among the main dishes, the big debut is the Duck rice (R$ 142), in which the rice is cooked in the duck broth and served with paio sausage, cabbage and orange confit.

It is worth remembering that the house offers a executive menu from Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 12pm to 3pm, at a fixed price of R$98 with salad, a protein (filet mignon escalope or thigh and roasted and grilled drumstick or grilled fish of the day) accompanied by rice, black beans, crispy potatoes, garlic farofa and kale with fried bacon.
In terms of desserts, the new product is the Suspiro and strawberry (R$ 37) – a whipped cream accompanied by fresh strawberries and meringues and finished at the table with basil olive oil and fleur de sel, in addition to the unbeatable Milk Pudding (R$ 39 ) and the creamy Cocada with strawberries (R$ 35).
