Dancing with the Stars 2021: does Alessandra Mussolini leave (really)?

The Blue Swan, as Milly Carlucci defined it during the first episode of the new edition of Dancing with the Stars, may not sing anymore. After dancing on the dance floor as a contestant in 2020, for Alessandra Mussolini this year a different role was envisaged: that of columnist on the sidelines, of free hitter ready to tease the jury with whom he has never had a great feeling and, in particular, Wild Lucarelli, who often criticized her for her performances. Things, in this round, started to turn well up to a Story published on Instagram by Lucarelli herself who, in response to a user who asked her the reason for Mussolini’s presence in Dancing this year, he wrote: “Dictatorships end, sooner or later”.

This answer must not have gone down to Mussolini who, also on Instagram, wrote: “I do not think, after this, that there are conditions to continue”, referring, of course, to his permanent presence at Dancing. Beyond the intentions, however, it seems very difficult for the former parliamentarian to give up his Saturday night engagement; partly because it is linked by a contract, and partly because this whole operation seems to be fueled in order to revive interest in the quarrel with Lucarelli which could last even in the following weeks. The quarrel between Mussolini and Lucarelli, on the other hand, is one of the highlights of this edition, and it is very likely that Mussolini was hired this year precisely to create new dynamics with the judge.

Meanwhile, the production of dancing with the Stars can be said to be more than satisfied: the first episode was seen by 3,991,000 spectators equal to 23.92%, almost jogging with You are worth it by Maria De Filippi, who gathered 4,225,000 viewers in front of the video, equal to 23.93%. The merit of a particularly successful cast where, at the first, they stood out, for different reasons, above all Arisa, Morgan, Al Bano, Federico Fashion Style and Valeria Fabrizi, and of a formula that has remained almost unchanged over time and which represents for the public one of the few fixed points of a ballerina programming and, often, in search of an author, to put it to Pirandello.
