Dancing with the Stars 2022, the outburst of Enrico Montesano: «I have to be rehabilitated»

Despite the expulsion decided by Rai top management and the indignation on social media, Enrico Montesano does not give up and, a few days after his forced abandonment Dancing with the Stars, he returns to the office continuing to think he is on the right side. Interviewed by The mosquito, Montesano said he was convinced of his possible reinstatement in the Rai1 program: «I hope to be called back. There was an overreaction and exaggeration, but in the light of the clarifications I may come back: they could give me a penalty, a disqualification for a bet. By nature and upbringing I am ready for dialogue and for finding a compromise solution», said Montesano, who still seems to be struggling to understand why Rai and Dancing with the Stars have decided to exclude him from the tender.

«Perhaps I was an awkward character who hadn’t picked up any provocation in six weeks», repeated the actor, minimizing, however, the issue related to the phantom shirt with the X Mas symbol which earned him his exclusion from the programme: «Looks like a mass distraction t-shirt to me. Someone probably didn’t like my presence there and they took the ball. Regarding the neo-fascist reference enclosed in that symbol, Montesano said: «It offends me, they have to apologize, I have to be rehabilitated, I don’t have this kind of story.” he insisted, explaining that the alleged Roman salute with which he was accused during rehearsals was a simple move dictated by the choreography.

«The decima mas took the gold medal. If you go to the Quirinale website there are references, even on the websites of the Armed Forces and the Navy. Delete everything. If I had worn a shirt with Che or Mao nothing would have happened », Montesano pointed out, reiterating the concept already expressed by the lawyer in the days immediately following his exclusion. On the relationship with Milly Carlucci, true deus ex machina of Dancing with the Starsthe now ex-competitor instead had kind and calm words: «We talked, she is very sorry and heartbroken. I am saddened that I unintentionally created this mess. Maybe I did something lightly, I didn’t think about it. But I don’t feel guilty, I haven’t committed any crimes.”
