Spanish news media had reported, according to APE-MPE, that a young woman had accused Alves of touching her under her underwear without her consent; when he was with friends at a nightclub late last December.
It should be noted that the 39-year-old star became the oldest Brazilian to play in a World Cup match when he captained the “seleção” in the match against Cameroon at the World Cup in Qatar. He also holds the record for most career trophies, totaling 43.
