Daniel Craig is the star of Guadagnino’s red carpet

On the seventh day of the Venice Film Festival, the Luca Guadagnino. And here he is, on the red carpet, among the actors of his film: Drew Starkey and a unreleased Daniel Craig, star of Queerin competition at the Festival, third in order of presentation of the five Italian films of this year. At the center is Lee (Craig), a middle-aged homosexual writer expatriate in Mexico City who develops an obsessive love for the younger Allerton (Starkey), who however eludes him, does not fully understand him. Together they will end up in the Amazon to share a trip based on ayahuasca.

The film in the Sala Grande was welcomed by nine minutes of applause at the official screening. Shortly before on the red carpet Craig had put on a show hand in hand with wife Rachel Weiszred lipstick, divine. “I wanted to investigate who we are when we are alone, regardless of who we love,” the director revealed at the Lido.
