The new president of Caixa Econômica Federal, Daniella Marques, told allies that she would like to invite bank employees who are assigned to ministries to help her in her management.
A fine-tooth comb had already begun, according to his interlocutors, especially at the Ministry of Economy. There is also a preference for them to be women.
The idea is to reconcile employees with experience at the bank who have not participated in the management of Pedro Guimarães with employees who are already within Caixa but who are evidently linked, directly or indirectly, to the allegations of sexual harassment that brought him down.
Such as CNN showed this Wednesday (29), Daniella intends to mainly affect the hard core of Guimarães on the bench, especially in people who in some way may have helped him to cover up the accusations.
At least six people within Caixa’s structure were very close to him: Camila Aichinger, vice president (VP) of the Retail Network; Celso Leonardo, VP of Wholesale; Carlos Vagos, Alvaro Pires and Cleyton Carregari, childhood friends and special advisors to Guimarães; and the chief of staff, Rosana Guimarães.
