Dapper Labs, the developer of the popular game NBA Top Shop, has completed another round of funding, during which it raised $ 250 million.
The leader of the round was the venture capital firm Coatue Ventures. Also invested by Andreessen Horowitz, GV and Version One Ventures. New investors are the venture capital firm BOND and the Singapore-based GIC fund.
At the moment capitalization of Dapper Labs is estimated at $ 7.6 billion. The company closed the last round of financing about six months ago. Then the company raised $ 305 million, and Coatue Ventures was also the leader.
With the funds raised, the company plans to expand its NBA Top Shot platform to support new sports and entertainment, and even music products on Dapper Labs’ own blockchain called Flow.

Recall that Dapper Labs gained fame thanks to its first game CryptoKitties. Recently it became known that the company will scale the Flow blockchain by placing nodes in the Google Cloud.
