It is never too late to learn to get by. I spent a life convinced that I am not brought to drive, do calculations, adjust things, do sports, use technology, before I realize that I was alone lazy.
Some people like to study instruction booklets, others not: But we are all capable of it, just wanting it. Same thing for technology. I found myself in London in the middle of an epochal metro strike, I had to arrange myself with the electric bike: I never had much fun. Who knows why in Milan I refused to use the Sharing apps. Indeed I know: mental laziness.
Even fixing a tap, a roller shutter, mounting a piece of furniture, it is not that difficult. There is no need to “the little man”. With a little study you can be able to do it yourself A lot of things and try great satisfaction.
Always in London, where I was a few days. My daughter worked. He threw me there: there would be curtains at the X shop and buy fish at the Y. In totally unknown areas. Without a subway. Yet just use the map (and the bike) and with a little calm and attention you arrive everywhere. Just don’t be in a hurry.
Arrangiare requires some study and some time. I speak like this because the wheel of the hamster has not yet started shooting (it starts next Monday), I just delivered a book and I enjoy a week of “normal” life. Which means not running all day and doing two thousand things and then throwing yourself on the exhausted sofa to shake the phone because the charge (not that of the phone) is exhausted.
You can start from small things: buy a light bulb, choose it, go on the staircase and put it instead of that lightning instead of asking for a AmicÓ™/CompagnÓ™/PortinaiÓ™ to do it. It starts like this and you end up taking the underwater patent, as I am about to do. Doing by themselves small and large apparently boring or difficult things is one of the joys of life. Think how I’m mass.
