The portion of Brazilians who claim that climate change is not a risk increased from 5% to 9% between June 2024 and April 2025, according to a survey released by Datafolha This Thursday (1st).
2,002 people were interviewed 16 years or older, in 113 municipalities from different regions of Brazil, between April 8 and 11, 2025, for the formation of new data. The margin of error is two percentage points, at 95%confidence level.
Datafolha had already conducted a survey in October 2024, which pointed to a growth trend in the portion that denies the threats of the planet’s warming.
According to the current survey, despite the increase in the percentage of people who deny the factor, most respondents (53%) say that climate changes are an immediate risk.
