The 67th edition of the David di Donatello awarded with a special career recognition both Sabrina Ferilli and Antonio Capuano. Director, author and set designer, 82, recently mentioned in the film It was the hand of God, received the coveted statuette from the director, Paolo Sorrentino. His iconic phrase (“Do not disunite”) became a legend in the film because he really repeated it to the Neapolitan filmmaker when he was still a young screenwriter.

The artist, signature of films of the caliber of Powder of Naples, was described by Sorrentino on stage as follows: «Antonio is a master of freedom and vitality, his cinema is a portrait of vitality. I am very grateful to him, he hired me the first time when I was a boy, in 3 seconds, without there being a valid reason. I had never worked before, I will always be grateful to him ».
When he held the statuette in his hand, Capuano wanted to dedicate it to his wife Willy, who passed away a month ago. “I don’t understand why you applaud, I don’t deserve it” and adds: “I dedicate the award to my girlfriend who is no longer around.”
