David Mamet to direct new Kennedy assassination film

The American director, David Mamet is preparing a new film for her assassination of John F. Kennedy which sheds new light on what happened on that fateful day in November 1963.

As reported by the Athens News Agency, the script of the drama film “2 Days/1963” was written by Nicholas Cellozzi and according to Deadline, tells how (Selloci’s) uncle, notorious Chicago mobster Sam Giancana, designed the assassination of the US president as revenge for trying to eliminate organized crime after the Mafia helped get John F. Kennedy into the White House.

THE Bonnie Giancana, Sam Giancana’s daughter will also be consultant and executive producer of the Monaco Films film.

Mamet plans to rewrite the script before the film begins production.

“Nick wrote and sent this to me the script is incrediblesaid the director. “Real insider issues, similar to what Francis Coppola brought up with Mario Puzo in the movie ‘The Godfather,'” he explained.

“She is one great american movie, but it has very little to do with the book. What is “The Godfather” really? Coppola and Puzo sit around a table and tell the stories they overheard from their grandparents. That’s why we love this movie that emerged from family and cultural myths presented as gossip. So here too the script was written from the things Nick overheard at the kitchen table from the people in the know. He made me say that I would love to do this movieDavid Mamet added.
