Davi's sister, Raquel Brito, denied allegations that the BBB 24 champion had confronted his then partner, Mani Reggo, about the popularity that the cook had achieved “at his expense”.
In an exclusive interview with Gshow, Raquel disputed the reports by columnist Leo Dias that the Bahian had been involved in “an argument” upon learning that Mani was famous, although she admitted that the couple had a conversation about the subject.
“There was no argument, or fight, as people are saying. No. Yes, there was a conversation, but there was nothing like that, you know? Davi only asked because it was a surprise for him. Someone who didn't take a photo with him, it was a difficulty, he didn't want to appear at all […] She wasn't interested in doing it. And now, after he enters [no BBB], after a certain time, she is already famous. She takes photos, she records videos”, she began.
Raquel also criticized the supposed “attempt” to portray Davi as an antagonist after his victory on the Rede Globo reality show.
“He was curious and asked her, but it wasn't in those terms of: 'Do you want to grow on top of my image'. People are calling him a monster, but he's not. So I was even surprised that words were leaking that were not said inside the room”, he lamented.
