“Dawson’s Creek” on Netflix, the moments we can’t wait to see again

23 years after the pilot episode, teenagers of Capeside they land on Netflix. The online streaming giant will make available (starting from Friday 15) all six seasons of Dawson’s Creek, the teen-dramedy cult of the second half of the nineties. We will relive the protagonist’s love and existential torments Dawson Leery, the head shots of the rebel neighbor Jen Lindley and the heart-pounding wonder between Joey Potter e Pacey Witter. To the series, the merit of having launched stars like Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, James Van Der Beek and the 4-time Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winner (for Fosse / Verdon, 2019) Michelle Williams. Created by Kevin Williamson (architect of the success of Scream e I know what you did), Dawson’s Creek it aired from 1998 to 2003 on the American network The WB.

The Capeside high schoolers are inspired by Williamson’s own youth; film student, secretly in love with the brunette who lived down where the river ends. Waiting to do binge-watch on the notes of “I Don’t Want To Wait», the moments of Dawson’s Creek that we can’t wait to see again. From chats between Dawson and Joey on the bedroom bed at Pacey’s first time with Professor Tamara, from Jen’s provocative speech at her friend Abby’s funeral to Jack’s coming out to Joey’s escape into Pacey’s arms.
