Dayglow an indie pop band that performed this Sunday (24), the third and final day of Lollapalooza 2024, answered a fan's request on the grid and sang “Close to You” with him.
Performing on the Samsung Galaxy stage for exactly one hour, the band performed new, old and best-known songs among fans. “Hot Rod” , “Can I Call You Tonight” It is “Close to You” this one with a special touch.
From the beginning of the show, a Dayglow fan who was on the grid held up a sign asking to sing the hit with Sloan, the singer.
Appearing to be oblivious at the start of the show, Sloan descended into the audience as soon as “Close to You” it started. Standing with the fans at the railing, he let the poster's owner sing a few verses.
Dayglow also tried, at every song interval, to show how excited he was about performing, for the first time, in Brazil.
“This is a dream. You can’t even imagine how excited I was to come,” said Sloan. “It’s been very special, I can’t wait to go back.”
