Daylist: Spotify expands new dynamic playlist; see how it will work

THE Spotify announced that it will expand the daylist a dynamic playlist, for some markets, including Brazil. Created in September last year, the functionality is one of the most popular on the platform in other countries.

In addition to evolving throughout the day, depending on what you listen to, the daylist offers a series of personalized playlists made for each moment of your day, as if summarizing a day in a playlist.

According to the streaming service, the daylist has been shared by fans in markets where it is currently available over 17 million times, and 70% of users listen to the playlist week after week. In countries where the feature is not yet available, Spotify also mentioned that there has been a 118% increase in requests for the feature in its markets since the beginning of this year.

How to find the daylist?

Users can find their daylist in the “Made For You” space on their mobile device, or on devices where Spotify is available, simply search for ‘daylist’ or visit spotify.com/daylist. Users can also save a favorite playlist by tapping the three dots ‘…’ or scrolling down to ‘Add to playlist’ and clicking ‘New playlist’. This will save their favorite daylist playlist to ‘Your Library’.

When will the daylist arrive in Brazil?

Starting this Wednesday (4), the daylist is available to Free and Premium users worldwide and in the following 15 new languages: Arabic, Catalan (Spain), French (Canada), French (France), German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish (Mexico), Spanish (Spain), Thai and Turkish.
