Lieutenant General Michael Goudkov, the Deputy Chief of the Russian Navy, who was also in charge of a brigade fighting against Ukraine, was killed in Kursk, Russia, Oleg Kozemiakos said on Thursday. According to information from the German DPA agency, Lieutenant General was killed in a Ukrainian rocket. Unofficially Russian and Ukrainian military channels in the Telegram had earlier reported that Gudkov had been killed along with 10 other soldiers in a Ukrainian attack on a administration in Korenevo in Kursk, which borders Ukraine. Later, according to Reuters, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the death of the Lieutenant General. He has been one of the highest Russian military who has been killed by Ukraine since Moscow started the war in 2022, according to CNBC.
