Ilanna Arquilino, partner of lawyer Brenda dos Santos de Oliveira, who died last Tuesday (30) while leaving a police station in the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, states that, shortly before the crime, a blogger from the city made a live broadcast in which he reported the location of the victim.
Brenda was accompanied by a client who had been arrested on suspicion of murdering a cowboy, but was released due to lack of evidence. When both were leaving the police station, they were hit by shots fired by two men on a motorcycle.
“At the time of the live, Brenda sent him messages [blogueiro] via direct. He himself said in one of the lives that he received a message from Brenda asking him to end the live and not expose the person being investigated,” said Ilanna.
Brenda's partner said that her friend had not suffered any type of threat and was not on death row.
In addition to Brenda and the client, the boy's mother and sister were in the car, as well as another woman. The lawyer and the boy died and the other three people were unharmed.
Ilanna regretted what happened and said that Brenda was “the best person” she knew. “And I don’t say that because she’s gone. She really was a wonderful person. Generous, always willing to help others, a good daughter, a good sister, a good friend and a good professional.”
