The news of a dead Brazilian man who was taken to a bank by his niece in order to obtain a bank loan has shocked the world. The cause of death of Paulo Roberto Braga, 68, was initially listed as bronchial aspiration and heart failure, according to an autopsy report obtained by Metrópoles, which noted that he showed signs of malnutrition. A doctor who examined him suspected he had been poisoned, and his body was sent for toxicology testing with a blood sample from his stomach, according to the report.
