Terror prevailed on Saturday afternoon at Gran Canaria Airport in Spain, when a 18 -year -old Gambia was killed by police fire after threatening tourists and attacked police officers with a knife. According to authorities, the young man received five bullets, one of which in the throat, and succumbed to the spot, despite the rescuers’ efforts to restore him. The police had previously tried to stop him, giving him warnings, but he allegedly moved threateningly towards them, throwing one of them on the ground and trying to attack the others. The incident, according to the Daily Mail, occurred shortly before 5pm, caused panic to attendees, with foreign tourists running panic -stricken to save themselves as shootings were heard at the airport.
