The version of the iconic song “Like a Prayer “, of Madonna who played in the feature film “Deadpool & Wolverine “, was officially released on streaming services on Friday (9) and is available for anyone who wants to listen to it again.

The reinterpretation of the Queen of Pop’s song was part of a scene at the climax of the film, starring Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool) and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine). In it, the characters fight a battle against the countless variants of Deadpool from the Multiverse.

In an interview with SiriusXM in July, Jackman and Reynolds revealed that they had to personally ask Madonna for permission, along with the film’s director, Shawn Levy, to license the song for the scene in the film.
