For the first time in a year, the transmission rate of the new coronavirus is above two in Brazil – indicating that an infected person transmits the disease to two others. The number of deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, which hit 929, is also the highest recorded since September 18, according to data from the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass).
