First feature led by Kristen Stewart “The Chronology of Water” was cheered at the Cannes Festival and received about Seven minutes of applause in your debut.
The project had been developed by Stewart for some time, and adapts Lidia Yuknavitch’s memories book released in 2011. During a press conference, the actress stated that the feature is about the art of overcoming. “It is to get up and try again. Return your body, your desires, ambitions and your dreams. I wanted to create something that was unruly, and at the same time, difficult to define,” he said.

The plot tells the story of an Olympic swimmer who escapes an abusive home with a scholarship in Texas, United States. After losing her due to addiction, she goes to another university and, through writing, finds a way to overcome the past.
The production is starring Imogen Poots (“Dating or Freedom”), Thora Birch (“American beauty”), Jim Belushi (“K-9: a good dog for the dog”) and more.
