Anvisa asked the Ministry of Health for more information to decide on the release of Covid-19 self-tests in Brazil. The decision was taken at a meeting of the agency’s collegiate board. Directors gave a period of 15 days for the folder to send the complementary data.
New record of cases
Brazil recorded a record in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in one day. There were more than 204 thousand confirmations, according to the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass). Before, the record had been in September last year, with just over 150,000 confirmed cases.
