The CEO of the Public Enterprise of Gas Distribution Networks (DEDA SA), Marios Tsakas and a group of company executives will visit the Region of Western Macedonia, from tomorrow, Wednesday, June 29, 2022 until Friday, July 1, 2022, in order to progress of work on major gas distribution network construction projects.
As DEDA points out, in Florina, Kastoria and Grevena, the construction works of the networks are in full swing and new connections of households and businesses are constantly implemented, while within the next few days the project will start in ‘Argos Orestiko.
At the same time, during the visit, issues related to the pioneering project “Hydrogen Village” of DEDA will be settled. This is the first pilot project in Greece for the production, distribution and use of hydrogen from natural gas, which concerns the full coverage of electricity and heating needs of a settlement in Western Macedonia.
