Defense of Daniel Silveira asks the STF to unlock the accounts of the parliamentarian’s wife

The defense of federal deputy Daniel Silveira presented to the Federal Supreme Court (STF) a request to unblock the bank account of the congressman’s wife, blocked by Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

The defense also asked to have access to the decision, which is confidential and which was “surprised” by the blockade.

This Tuesday (7), Minister Alexandre de Moraes ordered the Federal Police to hear the congressman’s wife within a maximum period of five days. That’s because the parliamentarian transferred R$ 100 thousand to the woman’s account.

The lawyer acts in the defense of the parliamentarian. On Twitter, Paola, who works in her husband’s defense, said that all the money she had in her account is gone. “Urgent! Alexandre de Moraes blocks my account, kidnaps all the money in it, without a warrant, and I am a lawyer in the process. This is unacceptable and extremely illegal. I just can’t believe it!” she told her.

On May 18, the parliamentary defense met with the minister and asked for the suspension of the measures imposed, such as the ban on attending and participating in public events, the use of electronic anklets, the ban on driving in places other than Brasília and the Rio de Janeiro.

On May 31, Minister Alexandre de Moraes gave the Attorney General’s Office 15 days to express its opinion on the request to revoke the precautionary measures and fines imposed on the deputy, which already total R$645,000.
