A retired police chief attacked and harassed municipal guards, early on Sunday (11), in the 14th Police District, in Pinheiros, São Paulo.
The agents were called after a woman, apparently drunk, got involved in a car accident and tried to flee.
According to a note from the Municipal Secretariat for Urban Security in SP, she called her boyfriend, who is a police chief. Upon arriving at the scene, he disrespected and even pushed one of the guards, who fell to the ground, shows one of the videos circulating on social media.
The SSP reported that the man was already away from duty and had his private weapon seized.
The secretary of Public Security of São Paulo, Guilherme Derrite, regretted what happened and declared that the man’s attitudes are being investigated by the Internal Affairs of the Civil Police.
My solidarity with the GCMs who were assaulted and harassed by a police chief who was away from their activities. The delegate’s attitudes are already investigated by the Internal Affairs of the Civil Police, as due legal procedure has been instituted to investigate this case.
