The episode of violence involving a Civil Police delegate of Pernambuco in Fernando de Noronha ended with removal and opening of Special Disciplinary Administrative Proceeding (PADE).
The Secretariat of Social Defense (SDS-PE) confirmed that Luiz Alberto Braga de Queiroz will be 120 days away from his duties after shooting a 26-year-old street vendor Emanuel Pedro Aporry during a party at Forte dos Remédios in the archipelago last Sunday (4).
The decision was signed by Secretary Alessandro Carvalho and published in the State Official Gazette. The case is accompanied by the SDS General Corregedoria.
The delegate has 24 hours to deliver his functional identity, weapons and other work equipment. The removal may be extended for another 120 days, if the disciplinary proceedings is not completed within the initial period.
According to the investigations, the confusion would have been motivated because the delegate would be jealous of his partner. The case is being investigated by the Department of Homicide and Person Protection (DHPP).

The Pernambuco Police Delegates Association (Adeppe) states that the police acted in self -defense and that his mate was being a victim of persecution and harassment.
Already the defense of Emanuel reported that he will ask the Attorney General’s Office to appoint a prosecutor to accompany the case. In a statement, the lawyers pointed out that the delegate has a history of disagreements, including a previous episode with a lawyer in the exercise of the profession. The Secretariat of Social Defense did not answer if there were already other complaints against the police.
The street vendor is still hospitalized at the Restoration Hospital in Recife. He underwent surgery for exposed leg correction and, so far, there is no forecast of medical discharge.
