The long-awaited backup function has appeared in Yandex.Mail 360. It works both in automatic mode and in manual mode, and is designed to restore any letters or folders after they have been deleted.
After enabling in the settings of automatic backup, all deleted messages will be saved in a conditional basket (the developers call it “special storage”) for 6 months. To find and recover the deleted message, the user will need to click on the “View deleted messages” button. The service also allows you to manually create a copy of the necessary letters, folders or the entire mailbox – the original structure of the records will be preserved. For security reasons, when manually creating and restoring copies, you will have to enter a password from Mail or a verification code from SMS.
The backup service is distributed within the subscriptions “Standard 100 GB”, “Premium 1 TB”, “Premium 3 TB” and “Premium 5 TB”. At the moment, the option is available only for some users, but in the near future it will appear for everyone.
