Deliveries of Ford Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles have just begun, but the manufacturer is already recalling these cars

The first Ford Mach-E electric vehicles have just begun to reach customers, but the manufacturer has already launched a recall campaign. It’s all about poorly tightened bolts.

Fortunately, the flaw that prompted the recall was discovered shortly after shipments began. Almost all vehicles affected by the “subframe bolt problem” will be repaired prior to delivery. Ford estimates that the problem affects “fewer than 75” electric vehicles already delivered to customers. During the campaign, they will be checked by dealers who will ensure that the bolts are tightened to specifications.

Ford is known to have delayed the delivery of Mustang Mach-E electric vehicles in January for “additional quality checks.” Whether the current recall is related to this review is unknown.
