Delivery man hit by Porsche was rescued with serious injuries and cardiac arrest

The motorcyclist who died after being hit by a Porsche in the early hours of Monday (29), was rescued with serious injuries and in cardiorespiratory arrest.

A CNN obtained access to the victim’s medical records. The document shows that Pedro Kaique Ventura Figueiredo, 21, was found at the scene of the accident with bleeding from both ears, from his mouth and bruises on his back and buttocks.

He was taken by firefighters to the Grajaú General Hospital and was admitted to the trauma room in cardiorespiratory arrest.

During the rescue, rescuers began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Attempts lasted 10 minutes with adrenaline injections, but the efforts were not sufficient.

The driver of the luxury vehicle, Igor Ferreira Sauceda, 27, was arrested by the police in the early hours of Monday (29). He was indicted for intentional homicide with a vile motive for the death of the delivery boy.

Driver Igor Ferreira Sauceda, 27, gave a statement to the Civil Police after running over and killing motorcyclist Pedro Kaique Ventura Figueiredo, 21. The collision occurred shortly after 1 am this Monday (29), on Avenida Interlagos, in the south of São Paulo.

In the first hearing, Igor said that he started chasing the motorcyclist after he broke the rearview mirror of his car, a yellow Porsche.

The driver took a breathalyzer test, which came back negative for the presence of alcohol.

Igor underwent a custody hearing this Tuesday (30), in which his preventive arrest was ordered.
