The Yandex team announced the launch of a new convenient service. In Yandex.Maps, it is now possible to order food in the car by parking at a fast food restaurant.
As the developers note, you don’t have to go to the hall or stand in line at the window for motorists. At first, the service is available in the Burger King chain.
At the moment, more than 130 Burger King restaurants have been connected in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Perm, Omsk, Novosibirsk and other cities of Russia.
Approaching the Burger King parking lot, the user will see a card in the application, in which you can go to the menu and select one of the sets. When paying, the driver indicates the phone number for communication, as well as the number and color of the car so that the restaurant employee can find him in the parking lot and transfer the order. Payment is made in the application.
Yandex.Maps already has the ability to pay for fuel at gas stations without leaving the car. A food ordering service works in a similar way.
