Dell has announced the launch of two U-series monitors, the U2723QE and U2723QX, based on LG’s 27-inch 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) panels. LG’s unique IPS Black technology is said to achieve an impressive 2000:1 contrast ratio for LCD screens. Models differ only in the configuration.

Monitors support 60Hz refresh rate. They cover 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, 100% of the Rec 709 color space and 100% of the sRGB color space. Monitors are calibrated with DeltaE <2. The maximum brightness is 400 cd / m², the pixel response time is 8 ms. Monitors are VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified. Features include HDMI and DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, DisplayPort output, USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub with USB-A and USB-C ports supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alt Mode and DP (up to 90W), audio output, and network port.


Each of the Dell U2723QE and U2723QX monitors costs $780.
