Can the mission of the European way of life be achieved in a Europe that is going through such a difficult period, a health / economic crisis and a war? Has the European Union done enough in the past to give weight to European values? With this question, Sneška Quaedvlieg – Mihailović, Secretary General of the pan-European Cultural Heritage Organization, Europa Nostra, opened the fruitful debate “For a European Union based on values” at the 7th Delphi Economic Forum in Delphi. Margaritis Schoinas commented that “To see the path that Europe has taken we must start from the ashes of World War II. Sneška Quaedvlieg – Mihailović addressed Victoria Hislop – with a question about healing the wounds of history through literature. “Telling the stories helps the reader to say that they should not happen again.
