The actress, singer and television star stars in a show reality tv called Unidentified with Demi Lovato. Although the project is interesting, what really caught the attention of Internet users was the comment with which the famous one said that to call aliens to beings that come from other planets is derogatory on all levels.
In an interview for Pedestrian TV, Demi talked about her television project, Unidentified with Demi Lovato, a show reality television that premiered on September 30 through the Amazon Prime platform and that has taken her to various cities in the United States, in search of information on alien sightings.
I too have been a believer my whole life (referring to aliens). And I thought, I’m in a position in my career right now where I can dip my toes in a lot of different waters. And this was the natural next step. I wanted to film everything that happens when I go to look for these UFOs so that my fans can accompany me on my adventure.
In this new adventure, the singer is accompanied by Dallas Lovato, Matthew Scott Montgomery, Dianna de la Garza and Seth Meyers.
But this was not all that Demi spoke about her new project. The singer also commented that she does not agree that the aliens are called aliens, it is quite offensive.
I think we have to stop calling them ‘aliens’ because it is a derogatory term for anything. This is why I like to call them ETs!
After this statement Demi will likely have to speak to her production show, since the executives in turn do refer to beings from other planets as aliens and not as “ETs”. On the other hand, the innocent comment attracted the attention of Internet users, who did not take long to comment on it.
