These sources said Greenberg has sent several memos in the past two weeks since the president’s devastating debate performance, reviewing internal polls that he says show the president’s standing continues to deteriorate because the overwhelming majority of Americans do not see him as capable of serving another four years in the White House.
Greenberg has been a prominent Democratic pollster for decades, and his work includes advising Bill Clinton’s two winning presidential campaigns. He declined to comment when contacted late Monday (15).
