Solange Bezerra, mother of influencer Deolane Bezerra, is being investigated on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking.
Solange’s defense filed a request for release with the Superior Court of Justice (STJ), but the habeas corpus was denied. Justice Herman Benjamin, president of the STJ, rejected the request, stating that Solange is suspected of participating in a series of illicit activities, including alleged activities related to drug trafficking and tax evasion.
She has been held in the Recife Women’s Penal Colony, in Engenho do Meio, west of the capital of Pernambuco, since September 4.

She is under arrest, yes, because she is suspected of a range of illicit practices, ranging from illicit drug trafficking, through to the exploitation of illicit games and culminating in money laundering, being one of the main beneficiaries and operators of these actions, according to the procedural notebook”.
In another part of the document, atypical financial movements by Solange to the account of her grandson, Kayky Bezerra, Deolane’s 18-year-old son, are mentioned.
According to the Court, Solange would have used Kayky’s bank account to make transfers via PIX with rounded amounts, which varied between R$10,000, R$15,000 and R$20,000.
“Currently moving amounts above its financial capacity, with high fragmentation in counterparties and rapid evasion of resources, in addition to frequently rounded amounts (…) Add to the suspicions, the preferred name (Kayky), which refers to the name of a third party, with PIX messages received named as: “payment 50% advertising kayky bezerra”, “second part kayky bezerra”, indicating possible use of the account to transfer amounts for the benefit of third parties”.
Deolane also remains in prison
The Superior Court of Justice (STJ) summarily rejected the habeas corpus request in favor of influencer and lawyer Deolane Bezerra, this Friday (13). The decision was made by the summoned judge Otávio de Almeida Toledo, rapporteur of the case that is being processed under judicial secrecy.
With the rejection, the process will not continue in the Superior Court.
The influencer is being investigated for alleged involvement in illegal gambling and money laundering. She was arrested on Wednesday (4), in Recife, in an operation by the Civil Police of Pernambuco.
She is currently being held in the Buíque Women’s Penal Colony, in the interior of Pernambuco, while investigations continue.
