Desenrola program should be announced in the coming weeks, says Treasury secretary

The secretary of the National Treasury, Rogério Ceron, said this Monday (27) that Desenrola, a program designed by the government to renegotiate the debts of people earning up to two minimum wages, is in the final stages of preparing the normative acts. According to him, the final version of the program should be announced in the coming weeks.

The proposal for the creation of Desenrola provides for the creation of a guarantee fund of up to R$ 20 billion to enable the renegotiation of debts.

“We are looking for spaces in existing funds to cover the impact of Desenrola. There may be a need for a Treasury supplement to the Desenrola fund,” he said.

Ceron also stated that the government carefully monitors the credit market to guarantee liquidity and access to financing lines.

“The government looks carefully at the credit market to guarantee liquidity and access. We also look at the eventual need for lines for sectors and small and micro companies”, he declared.
