The Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, said this Thursday (9) that the operating system of the government’s debt settlement program, “Desenrola”, is in the development phase.
“We released the hiring of the software. It’s a complex system, because it’s a private debt, it’s not a debt that involves the public power. There is no precedent for Desenrola, nothing similar has ever been done, so we will need to develop an operating system. On Monday, the president authorized the contracting of the operating system, and as soon as it is ready, we will launch the program”, said Haddad.
The program, presented during the presidential campaign, proposes that the government make a contribution of R$ 10 billion to renegotiate the debts of Brazilians who earn up to two minimum wages.
According to Haddad, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva authorized the contracting of the operating system. However, Haddad did not know when the system will be ready.
“I don’t know how long it will take them to make the system, but it’s ordered, deliver the tested system, it will go live for us to help families solve the problem of negative CPF at Serasa”, added the minister.
