According to information, DESFA today proceeded with the decision for the assignment of the lease contract for a floating storage tank for liquefied natural gas that will be placed in Revythousa.
By decision of the Board of Directors of the Administrator according to the same information, the lease was assigned to the company Gaslog, for a period of 12 months.
The addition of a leased LNG tank in Revythousa is included in the plan to secure the country’s energy supply, in case of interruption of gas supply from Russia.
The tender, sources said, was conducted through the mediator “SSY Gas” on behalf of DESFA. The addition of FSU, he added, will significantly upgrade the storage capacity of the Revythousa Terminal, while enhancing the flexibility of the regional liquefied natural gas supply chain and the country’s overall energy security.
